Legal assistance for the elderly provides free legal representation and advice in areas of elder abuse, protection, health law, housing, naturalization, and the public interest. We represent conservative and conservative candidates when the court appoints them. LAS runs a health insurance consultation support program (HICAP) in Arameda County. The program provides individual counseling and support for Medicare and related health insurance plans and programs. LAS provides community education on the following topics for groups throughout Arameda County: All presentations contain an overview of LAS and HICAP services. As the legal and medical systems change, we continue to develop and update our education programs. The annual conference on elder abuse is also held every spring.

I met a comfortable and knowledgeable HICAP counselor.  After thoroughly evaluating my individual needs, she provided the information needed to choose a new plan and saved about $400 per year. at planned cost  Thank you to the volunteers.  Wow!

Thank you for the hip! ! They were my heroes! My husband and I recently started caring for my mother-in-law's medical care after my father-in-law passed away in 2013. She lives in the Assist Living Care Home and belongs to the Memory Care Unit for Alzheimer's disease. Medicare has another "first insurance company", so she lost her and stopped paying all medical expenses. My husband is the authority of my mother's lawyer, so Medicare only talks to him and travels outside the state every Monday through Friday. He said he longs for more time to speak to Medicare representatives to get different answers every time, not to get a solution. A year later, I learned about HICAP and left a message about our crisis. My mother-in-law's mental health deteriorated and spent $20,000 in a month on special care. We were desperate at this point for help. Haru, who came from Kachap, heard a message asking for my desperate help and called me the next day. In an hour he received the certificate that I needed to clear the misunderstanding and prove that my mother-in-law does not actually have another insurance company. Then an angel named John called me and promised me that he would come to my house the same day and explain the Medicare system and insurance, and gave me the educational information that would end in months if I tried myself. He helped me put my mother in the program I chose. John took time to explain everything to me well. He looked into my case and told me that I could call any other question or concern at any time, and immediately respond. He spent two hours with me because I registered my mother in law and made the process go smoothly. I had a lemonade and an air-conditioned house outside at 100 degrees, so I offered just one. I had a very wonderful experience! Thank you for your help. This is a great organization full of knowledge. I can't thank you enough.

Legal support for the elderly provides free legal services for people over 60 years of age throughout Alameda County. Services are available in 20 different languages and are available to people with disabilities. The LAS staff will meet with groups for educational presentations and individuals for one-on-one support. Those who cannot travel can arrange a home visit.

This is a very important program that provides services to older people and people with disabilities. When I asked for help, it was God's help because there was no clue to the complex medical questions or problems and there was no clue to what to do.

This address is wrong, they are in Oakland's 7th Avenue and have spent at least five years.
