My wife and I first went to Howard Neil a few years ago to build a trust in life for us. In the next two or three years, we had two children, so we had to make a correction. Howard did a great job, so we highly recommend him!

Howard has done a great job in helping us build trust, will and health care for our lives. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and kind. His price is also reasonable. Scheduling appointments was easy and we were able to quickly respond to emails and voice mail. After we had a child, we asked him to fix it. He was willing to do it for us!

I highly recommend him to my family, friends and others!

I met a lot of incompetent lawyers, but this guy is the worst! He made some serious accusations against me. His discovery of his client only met one-third.  He said he had not read my finances at all to the mediation. I was excused,  He walked away with a check of 104,000 dollars and paid a mortgage of 175,000 dollars. When you file a suit, you don't want the other party's table, you want the other party's table.

Howard D. compiled my trust and will documents in 2011, and I was satisfied with his service.

My One Star assessment concerns him who recommended my trust to be a beneficiary of Roth IRA and Regular IRA accounts. That's how I built my trust.

I would only get serious results that would be obvious if I had not learned.  Howard's advice was very bad advice

Loss When you receive trust as a beneficiary of IRA and normal IRA, my heir loses the tax benefits from these accounts.

Yes. I need to get my trust and will again so my heirs can directly inherit these accounts. There, we can continue to invest and continue to grow without tax. Moreover, Ross IRA funds are never taxed. Regular IRA funds are taxed only when they are withdrawn from the account.

If I were given 0 stars, I would give.  I don't know how Howard Neil was highly praised.  He is not professional and irresponsible.  At the hearing of a small claim that he was the executor of the estate on the other side, I told him that I would sentence him  Immediately (I did), he said that as soon as he received my check he would submit "the satisfaction of the judgment" to the court.  I sent him a check literally on the same day.  He quickly cashed it, but never satisfied with the decision.  A month later I called his office and made sure he was satisfied with the court.  I had to call three times on the way  His assistant called me two weeks ago.  She informed me that she was satisfied with the decision, and I asked her to send me a copy of the documents that were submitted to the court.  I don't get that.  So I called again three weeks later.  I never get a call back.  I called again two days later.  No call back.  On the way to buy a house, a broker called up on Thursday and informed that a credit survey report had a statutory lien because of a "failure" to pass a petty claim.  I immediately called Mr. Neil and called him back as soon as possible, asking him to discuss the form that was to be presented to the court three months ago.  This Monday night, do you think Neil called you back? No! !  If you need at least an expert, ethical, and responsible lawyer who will answer your urgent phone call, don't go with Howard Neil! !!!!!

I listened to Howard Neil's wonderful story as a fellow of a nearby business networking group for a year or so. When my wife and I came to work seriously on real estate planning, we contacted Howard's office. He not only explained thoroughly and accurately, but also (once for my wife, several times for me) every step of the process. Howard knows about real estate planning and trust, and we know that our problem works better at night, so we can sleep a little better. Thank you, Howard.

After my father died, I just met Mr. Neil this week on the verification issue. I answered all my questions perfectly and had them answered in a convincing way. Also, after first asking questions, Mr. Neil came back to me soon, so I was very relieved. He has lived in Monclair for decades, and is well known here.  Recommended!

Recently, I sent a follow-up to ask his office if he would help me with real estate issues.  I waited for a week and I could not get any kind of reaction. My problem was not even in their field of study.   Sadly, now I'm back at the start.  :(
