In July 2016, I was caught up in an unfair case on SJPD. My friend introduced me to Sam, which was the best decision for my situation. I've never been involved in the justice system as a "perpetrator" (in fact, I've partnered with the judicial system of work in the community) and I didn't know where to start. In a confused, illogical and broken system, Sam broke it in the middle (without any frustration at my questions). He is always available, sensitive, and feels like he is part of the team. He is realistic about the results and clearly shows the next step. I felt very concerned and he had a personal interest in my being treated fairly.
