Insider Reveals Possible Timetable for 49ers Edge Rusher Nick Bosa's Return
The 49ers are hoping star defensive end Nick Bosa will be able to return from a calf injury soon. The San Francisco 49ers' defense is struggling this season, with several key players, including defensive end Nick Bosa, Sam Okuayinonu, Alfred Collins and CJ West out due to injuries. Bosa hasn't played since Week 2 due to a calf injury and expressed confidence two weeks ago that he might return in Week 7 versus the Atlanta Falcons and possibly in Week 6 versus the Washington Commanders. However, he missed practice for the second consecutive day this week and is unlikely to play this Sunday in Atlanta. CBS Sports reporter Matt Zenitz suggests that Bosa may return to game action Nov. 8 against the Las Vegas Raiders. Overall, San Francisco ranks fourth in points allowed but 16th in sacks.
