Tielee Phillips, 33, has been arrested for the 2024 hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian on Interstate Highway 580 in Alameda County, California. Phillips was one of two drivers who allegedly hit the pedestrian on I-580 in the unincorporated Ashland neighborhood of Alameda Co. The California Highway Patrol said Phillips was driving a Mercedes-Benz and fled the scene after hitting the pedestrian. He was found in Oakland and arrested by the CHP, members of the Alameda county Regional Auto Theft Task Force and the Alamed County District Attorney's Office. Phillips allegedly had a concealed, loaded semiautomatic firearm found in his possession. He has been booked into Santa Rita Jail on the outstanding warrant and more firearm-related charges.
