San Francisco City Attorney David Chiu announced that over $1.5 million in funds will be made available to Californians who were impacted by a gift card scam. If you have faced financial loss using Vanilla gift card, you may be eligible for compensation through the fund. The deadline for applying for compensation is February 19, 2027. The funds will help "put money back into the pockets of those who were victims"
