49ers GM Announces Nick Bosa Injury Update After Falcons Loss
San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch announced an injury update on star pass rusher Nick Bosa after loss to Falcons. The San Francisco 49ers lost their first NFL game of the season to the Atlanta Falcons, losing 29-20. The team's bye week comes at a crucial time as they are eager to get several injured players back on the field, including star pass rusher Nick Bosa, who sustained a calf injury during practice in Week 3 and has remained sidelined since. Despite initial optimism about Bosa's potential return, head coach Kyle Shanahan's comments suggested that Bosa was too optimistic. The 49ers have a good chance of returning seven players from injury in Week 9, including Bosa. Other notable players mentioned include wide receivers Mike Evans, Deebo Samuel and DeMarcus Robinson.
